ZLS Porto di Venezia-Rodigino

By DPCM (Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers) of October 5, 2022, a Simplified Logistics Zone (ZLS) was established in Veneto, centered around the Port of Venice. The Port of Venice is one of the priority maritime ports in the trans-European transport network (TEN-T), and thus meets the requirements to launch such a project.

The Simplified Logistics Zone Porto di Venezia-Rodigino is a project aimed at providing Veneto with a tool capable of acting as a driving force for the entire regional economy. This initiative has the potential to generate, over the next decade:

  • An increase in investments of 2.4 billion euros;

  • An average annual increase of 8.4% in container traffic (in Italy, this traffic has grown by an average of 1.1% in recent years).
