The Veneto Region intends to proceed with the identification of “settlement opportunities” within the regional territory, consisting of buildable areas and existing buildings with a productive vocation, both public and private property, which can be promoted to new potential investors, including foreign ones, through dedicated initiatives such as publication on regional institutional portals and their enhancement during promotional events at the regional, national, and international levels.
This initiative, aimed at Citizens, Businesses, and Public Entities, in addition to enabling the creation of a broad and structured investment offer to present to national and foreign investors, will serve as a lever for the economic and competitive development of Veneto on the international stage. It may also serve as a useful starting point for defining an effective system of tools, such as administrative simplifications and economic incentives, to support businesses intending to invest and produce in Veneto.
In particular, it targets public or private entities that own assets in the form of buildable areas already designated for productive use in the municipality's general urban planning tool (greenfield) or existing buildings and areas (brownfield) with a productive vocation (industrial/craft), which are interested in making these assets and the related information available to potential investors, including foreign ones.
